Forums - General - So is Sophmore year tough?

I have a block schedule which is 4 classes per semester. Honestly i have talked to many of my friends and i heard world history is the hardest due to the teacher and th work load. Spanish 4 AP will also most likely be hard. And i still don't know what i want to be. All i know is that i want to go to a good college.

My sophomore year is going to be comprised of Honors Pre-Cal, Honors History, Honors Chem, Honors Latin II, Honors English II, Honors Italian II/III, and Photo.

For some strange reason I don't want to go back to school.

They teach Italian in your school?

Honestly, I don't even think it's an important enough language. :P

They teach Spanish, Italian, Latin, French, and German.

Ah, pretty much exactly as here besides the Italian.

They also have classes for Japanese, Korean and Chinese me thinks. Those are a bit more exclusive, though. You probably have to have some background knowledge...

In this area, it seems to vary by school, though I know that German is being done away with. At the school my roommate teaches in, they do Spanish, French, Latin, Japanese, Arabic, and ASL. No prior knowledge is required to do any of them. And truthfully, those choices were a lot better than when I went to school- my choices were Spanish, French, or German. The high school also had a Latin club where you could learn the language, but no formal class for it...

Doing away with German!?

I'm in German. :(

I'm pretty sure the program in our school will stay, though. Dumb FCPS.
