They cancelled it, because they made it run slower on the ps3 since people were turned off because of the speed of the game(I was and IM getting the orange box if reviews are good).

The PS3 version is going to run slower since you can't react as fast or turn as fast using a console controller. And PC users would be pissed if we had our game dumbed down for consoles.

Rightly so, I can't even begin to count the amount of times I've felt like the controller holds me back because I fumble with the buttons and analog sticks. The controller for FPS games feels like a wall to me. I downloaded and tried out the UT3 demo a month or two ago and it's a really fast game and I couldn't imagine trying to brave it with a controller.

Fast paced shooters like UT, CS, and TF should never be attempted using a gamepad.

from what iv heard you can use a keyboard and mouse with the ps3 edition.

Yea, I'm using a 4-5 year old keyboard and the adapter cost like $20 or less. Also, it proved helpful when I upgraded my computer and had to install the USB drivers so I had to navigate it all with just the keyboard.

If I do get it, then I'll probably look into Linux on the PS3 just to check it out.
