Forums - General - I'm pretty rattled.

Just got home.. past four in the morning.

So I went into the bank today, left my bike out where I can see it. I see a group of people eyeing me down from across the street outside a store.

Before you know it, they were walking towards me, one of them came into the bank and was like "hey, who's bike is that?" I said "it's mine.. I bought it." and he tries to cover me from looking outside, all his friends are around my bike. I see a kid hop on the bike and bolt down the street, I literally chased after him, one of his friends tossed his skateboard at me. I picked it up, stomped on it, snapped the kid's board.

Ended up finding the kid with my bike, and getting into a fight with one of them in a busy parking lot, there was a crowd. My lip is kinda swollen.

So, my bank card is gone because I got distracted in the bank, swollen lip and my bike is stolen.

, well I'd like to see somebody top this bad day.

If you like I could tell you a funny embarassing story on how an old friend got his phone stolen. That should cheer you up.

Haha yeah today was pretty rough.

And sure.

Sounds like when you were trying to win the battle, someone else was winning the war. Or did you lose both?

OK.

So it was sophomore year in high school. Second day of school. There was this new guy that had lived up until then in Russia (his parents worked for the government). We were sitting together and he says "Something really stupid happened to me yesterday". I ask "what?", and after some convincing he agreed to tell me, with the condition that I don't tell anyone (I feel so naughty at this moment ).

So, he tells me that the other day, when classes had finished and he was returning from school a guy walked up to him and started calling him out. Normaly in such a situation I personally would pretend not to hear him and moved on. What did my friend do? He stopped to talk to the guy (I should also mention that the guy had followed him to an empty alley). So the guy starts yelling at him: "What's going on between you and my sister you fu---ng punk! Are you fu---ng her you punk?". The poor guy dazzled tries to explain that he had never even met that guys sister (how could he? he lived in Russia prior). So the guy tells him "Ok, lend me your phone and I'll call up my sister. Maybe I made a mistake and you're not hte guy. my phone's dead so please lend me yours". What does my surprisingly naive friend do? (considering that Russia ain't exactly the most friendly and safe country in the world) He gives him the phone. What does that guy do? He runs like crazy with my friends phone, leaving the poor guy dazzled.

Even funnier was that there was a police presinct not very far.

BTW: Have you tried the police?

Ouch Lol... If the guy was convincing enough I woulda gave my phone up if he pulled a knife on me or something. I wouldn't have gave it to him otherwise.

Yeah I reported the stolen bike.

My friend genuinely though the guy was serious (confusing him with some other guy), and reall thought he was gonna call his sister.

Sadly I don't know if the police will be able to do anything about it. They usually don't put much resources in finding stolen bikes. You should also go see a therapist. You may develop post-traumatic stress syndrome (Hey, you never know, this might have traumatized you).
