I play it on medium, full AA and 1600X1200 res. I can't make the high settings work though! The PC reboots every time I try! I'm sure it could handle it though, possibly Very High as well with half-decent framerate, but I don't have a DX10 card...

If you have specs similar to mine that might be the case. My processor could be a bottleneck, but I don't really think so.

I run this on a 3800x2 (2000mhz x2, does the game utilize dual core?), 2 gigs of ram, one MSI oc'd 8800gt, and a standard 7200rpm hard drive.

Keep in mind I had it at high settings though - I'll have to try medium sometime to see what I get. You could always get two 8800gt's....maybe it'll add enough fps to make it more playable on high?

I have a Core2Quad at 2.4Ghz, the same Ram and hard drive and i'm trying to find a 8800GT (i have a crappy 8400GS). Thank god by early January i'll have 2x8800GT (if anyone gets stock!!)

My PC can't even handle games from 2003, let alone Crysis.

Your processor is much better than mine so you could see some performance increase with just 1 8800gt - but with 2 (depending on what resolution you use) you may get it running pretty smooth.

Mine does ok on low but far cry looks better in comparison. If I move settings up enough for it to be pretty its a slide show.

no =[

I have a core 2 duo, 2GB RAM and 8600GT with 256 MB of internal RAM, plus it has been overclocked to 630/740 MHZ
I'm going to download the demo tomorrow and I'm going to see how well my computer fares.
