No computer or possible configuration of computer parts exists that can play Crysis on very high, DX10, full AA/AF, and max resolution.
Unless we're talking computers that cost about the same as a house I suppose...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Its doable, my friend's PC handles it quite well actually. I would say 1680x1050 4xAA, with very high features turned on in DX9 at around 55 frames out of combat and 35 or so in combat is pretty damn good.
My computer smokes the game without any troubles in low and does very well in Medium. On high I get playable framerates around the 30 FPS level or so.
PS - A rig that plays crysis at High only costs about $800 new
Sadly, with my new computer i can only play it on low settings with almost no lag... i'm still waiting on those sold out 8800GT :'(
Mine does well on very high at 1024x768.
Had to overclock and take off dual monitor :(
Anyone notice that even if it's at 20 fps it runs like it's at 30? It's not choppy.
Yeah, I finally have a sig.

My current computer is a laptop that I got in 2004, and it can just barely run Rome: Total War. It would probably explode if placed in the same room as a copy of Crysis. =P
I'm thinking of getting a new computer next year, and it just might be capable of running the game if I spend enough on it. I'm looking forward to the Orange Box, Dawn of War, Supreme Commander, and a few other games more than Crysis, but having a computer capable of running is good enough of a reason to get it I suppose.
Medium - 1680x1050 - NoAA - ~25fps
I find this unplayable and I am going to wait to play it until Feb when I go after the new D9E card.
This is around the lowest fps I had @ 1920x1080, all high settings, no AA:
It usually hovered around 17 at that res and at 720p with AA - and this is with an oc'd 8800gt. This game is really taxing...and from what I played of it it does seem really overhyped...
(that pic says 15.5 in case you can't right click and view the full image)
edit: This game makes me want to play farcry again. I could probably get 10x those frames per second with that game.
