Well lets see:

The big Left 4 Dead PS3 reveal was supposed to be the Gametrailers TV show tonight, and Left 4 Dead and the PS3 weren't mentioned in the same sentence once, even though it would be a perfect time to slip in the PS3 announcement on National Television.

The show then proceeded to talk about the New L4D DLC and how it ties into the second game. Again nothing pertaining to the PS3. Then they announced that the Left 4 Dead dlc was also coming to Mac. If they were going to announce something L4D for another system they would have most likely said it then. I'm sorry but the way things seem to be going, I don't think it is coming out for the PS3. Now we can pretend like it is a "no brainer" that L4D is going to come out on the PS3, or we can look at the facts we have now. If the facts change than yeah maybe the PS3 will get it. But the way it seems now, it is a "no brainer" that it's not coming out for the Playstation 3.

Mass effect already comming to ps3, Ninja gaiden(published by MS) went to ps3, GTA episodes already on ps3,Portal is already announced for PS3 with steam stuff...

whats stoping L4D going to ps3 specially it's published by EA and Valve are already starting to bring their games to ps3 starting with Portal 2(which gabe him self said is going to be the better version for consoles)?

here's a tip for you so you wont get devastated when L4D or any 3rd part exclusive jump ships to other console.

*Never and I mean NEVER trust 3rd party devs to stay exclusive unless the game is published OR OWNED by MS or Sony.*

helps to reduce damage control like with ME going multi and FF13 trust me.

Strange... You're acting as though I'm against it coming. If it came out on the PS3 I would probably buy it again. Those achievements were easy enough, so some new trophies would be awesome. You seem to think that I'm threatened by other people being able to play one of my favorite games, and that's where you are wrong.

Try and reread my post again and to what it was responding too. I think that will help you understand my viewpoint a little better. I said by the look of things now, "I" don't think it is going to happen. If the facts changed then yeah my view would change, but there is nothing regarding Left 4 Dead out right now to make anybody think that it is coming out for the PS3, sorry.

Yes because i have already played these games ages ago... its good to be a multi console owner more likely.


but what of people who only have a ps3? surely this is a win for them. i still think lfd will arrive on ps3, possibly both of them in 1 pack

Looks like the announcement was DLC called 'The Sacrifice' for both L4D1 & 2...

valve should stick to making PC games as they are extremely good at it, otherwise quality will suffer and they will be left for dead by the competition.

If it does come to PS3, i hope they pack a mic in because its gonna hell playing with people that dont have mics, which is like 75-80% of PSN.

 

But the PS3 version will probably get FREE dlc, which is always good.

Playstation All-Stars is one of the best games I've played this gen, and is the most fun I've had in a game this gen.
