Thats strange, as i ordered my GoW Collection copy from Sendit which is UKs webshop...

 

I really hope that this is not just another rumor. I have both games for PC but if they release them on PS3 I'll gladly grab them again.

Didn't Bioware say they were going to make other games in the Mass Effect universe? This could be a completely new game, but I hope they focus on 3 right now.

Besides have you figures to back up your statement that its mainly a pc game. They have sold a combined 4.16 million on the 360.

@topic:  I highly doubt it will be a combo pack of ME1/2 because at the end of the day this is still EA we're talking about and they're not going to give two games for the price of one.  Most likely it is either a "sigma" version of each individually, or info on those other games set in the ME universe that are not the original trilogy. Just my two cents...

I just bought a new video card to play, among other things, both Mass Effect games.

I was hoping they announced Mass Effect Collection someday, I even said it somewhere on this web.

Shit!! Well, anyway, the PC still has lots of amazings things to offer me that I couldn't get on my PS3 and I get to be enjoying the first Mass Effect right now as the 2nd one awaits its turn.

Great news for Sony fans!

mass effect is amost a 3 year old game... most gamers interested will have played it by now.

They probably want the third instalment in the series to be multi platform, they can't do that without releasing the first two on the PS3 first. If it bring's them another 500k in sales, then that's just a bonus, but I'm sure the extra million for Mass Effect 3 is what they'd be aiming for.

If they release both 1 2 on a single disk, along with some DLC, I'm sure many people would pick it up only because it's a great deal for the price. If the God of War Collection can sell over a million copies, I at least expect the Mass Effect collection to sell half of that.

This would all be great if it was true, but rumours like this one have been floating around forever and I honestly don't see it happening.



Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Those days for the most part, outside of 1st party, are dead.

There is no 1 dominant console on the market like in the past.  Wii is in first but both HD consoles are extremely healthy and everyone is posting good sales.  Thus third party developers can make a profit releasing on all consoles instead of just focusing on 1 single platform.

and the 360 doesn't?  I'm pretty sure the 360 has way more 3rd party exclusives than the ps3 and that means games that aren't on the pc too.  Most of them are crap, but the same could be said about the ps3 and wii 3rd party games as well.  In fact, the only standout 3rd party exclusive I can think of is MGS4, but on a purely who has more 3rd party exclusives 360 or ps3, it would most certainly be 360.
