Because sometimes, history can influence the way your posts are interpreted.

mods are mods, they keep order here, this forum is better without having reach and his halo reach 12 million sales after 10 weeks predictions, and the rantings of a guy with a potato chip as his avatar, it also keeps fanboys out. people here have a much higher iq then people on ign and gamespot, everything their is about trolling.

but hey what do i know, i got banned twice,

once was for telling a country to go to hell, and for stating my opinion on a countries political intentions. obviously the mod was from that country and decided to ban me because i was saying a stereyotype.

my 2nd ban was because i said "you guys are idiots" in a thread, i agree with the mod, but a guy called me a terrorist and didnt get banned. well he edited it after some time.

 

in my opinion the post was offensive to 360 owners, it made me laugh but still some people might find it offensive. you got a warnning at least its not a ban.



Being in 3rd place never felt so good

You told the U.S. to go to hell....that was the main reason you were banned.

Also, if somebody calls you a terrorist, report them instead of sinking to their level. There are people on the site who I believe just like setting people up and then editing their posts before mods can see them.

i know :P was it you who banned me? fortunatly i was on a road trip for two days. i wasnt complaining it was just a joke :P

he called me a terrorist after i was banned, and when he noticed my ban i edited it. oh and i just found out about the report button today.

I've been banned for less (like saying console X has no value to me or something similar).

Some of the mods are cool guys but some of them have a stick up their ass. Been this way for years now.

The "trolling" rule here applies to not only trolling, but also anything that looks like mockery, an emotional rant about the flaws of a console, or personal attacks.

While you have a very valid point, I think you were modded because it's framed in a tone of mockery.

I think the modding here is a little strict, but in some cases it is very fair.
