Black Rock Shooter is an phenomenon that you most likely haven't heard of. First appearing in a music video performed by virtual idol Hatsune Miku, she soon became incredibly popular and eventually became famous enough to star in her own anime. Now, a new website has surfaced, revealing that the BRS franchise will now be adapted into a RPG by Ryuta Konuma (Persona 3 and 4, Valkyria Chronicles 2)

The website only displays a single video. The translation of the message depicted in the video reads "In the year 2032 AD, mankind was decimated. Before she wakes up…. She becomes RPG." Here is the video displayed on the official site:

Fans of Black Rock Shooter are probably ecstatic, but what about the rest of us be? Ryuta Konuma has done a great job with the recent Persona titles, and Valkyria Chronicles 2 is looking to be pretty wonderful. But how will he handle adapting a music video into a full blown RPG?

The anime just started airing and it's pretty interesting so far...and I might be wrong but this game can be rather huge in Japan. Chances are this will be a sony exclusive but we will most probably know for certain by TGS

TGS > E3 this year! (for SONY at least)

Yep, the prob with E3 this year was Sony released info about lot of their big hitters early on, like infamous 2

I honestly think GC might be bigger for them than E3 also...who knows :D
