Forums - General - Heroic Liver Donor Dies

Yesterday while I was leaving for work, I moved as CNN showed the story of a man who was going to donate a part of his liver to save his dying brother.  Ryan Arnold died trying to save the life of his brother, Chad.  I can't find the video online, but it was pretty powerful seeing the positive attitude of Ryan and his brother prior to the operation.  It troubles me seeing how the whole thing went wrong.  For what it's worth, Ryan Arnold has my unbound respect.  I can only imagine the anguish his surviving brother, Chad, must be going through.

Around the Network

I've been looking for that video, and something troubles me.  CNN reported the story of the two brothers, yesterday (Friday 13th).  Today, they are reporting the aftermath (Saturday, August 14th).  Now, the video that I'm looking at says that this Ryan's story ended on August 2nd.  Either CNN didn't know about the tragic ending of the story at the time of report, yesterday, or I don't know what to think.  This story is several days old.  Why are they acting like this is new news?

I've had a liver transplant about a year ago :/ This is really sad

Sad.
