Hey Im not doubting the Wii man, ppl said Wii won't be big last holiday aswell same for slim ps3 thats why I hate the skeptic crowd around here in VGC they keep going on and on and gets proven wrong again and again.

PS3 is only in the beginning. It costs $299 now. That was PS2 launch price. Among the 3 consoles PS3 is the only one that can survive onto next generation.

Its all about games people and the PS3 is in amazing shape in that regard. First they have GT5 finally, and LBP2 launching both will sell millions. On top of that we are getting PS Move, Socom 4, Sorcery, and Heroes on the Move, which should all break 1 million. Then consider we are getting some awesome PS2 bundles, Team ICO, SLY Cooper, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, and more are likely. Now add Last Guardian, Killzone 3, Infamous 2, and Twisted Metal and you got some more great exclusives for 2011. Finally, consider they have Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, New Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxter still available for announcement.

The system is in great shape and will only get better as 3d and bluray continue to gain popularity.

-MMORGs

-steamworks for games

-PSN   (well this a new one anyway) , giving Sony more $$$$$$ and taking away the only part of the PS brand that isn't profitable

-3d  

-The Psp phone thing, that I think will be a big hit as only Sony is the company that has the possibility of making a game phone of working, that has both the gaming assets and phone manufacturing to do both.  I think that this is a great synergy between two of Sony's divisions that haven't done a whole lot together until now.

Also, the 360 only cut about 15% somewhat less than the 25% from the PS3 's cut in weight, so it's obvious that Sony benefitted a lot more than MS from having a weight cut, just saying

no, he didn't

When has the ps3 been doom.Only idiot belive thta.The 360 sales are due to the new version of the console.Reach is not helping because it's a software seller most people who are getting reach already own a 360.
