We get lots of sequels those days, most of them are better then original game, but not always.

What games do u think had bad sequels?

My top 3 of bad sequels:

3. MGS 2

They are good games, but not as good as previous ones.

I haven't player GTA4, so I can't comment on that.

DMC truly was IMO a 'bad sequel', I disliked most things about the game.

MGS 2 was a disapointing game, but not a bad game by any means.  Though I can truly understand people's fustration at the whole Raiden situation.

I also think the likes of Super Mario Sunshine, Zelda II and Bioshock 2 all fall into the MGS 2 catagory as they were still very good games, just disapointing compared to their predecessor/s 

All Tomb Raiders after 2...

Super Mario 2 - can't even really put a finger on what I disliked. It just didn't feel liek Mario

GTA 4 - Maybe it wasn't that bad, but I felt let down by it. I was expecting more

Command and Conquer 4 - Worst. Game. Ever

Turok 2 - Lacked the amazing atmosphere of the original

It was a good game, on it's own.... but it fell very very very short of it's predecesor

Halo 2 (PC version) - The first one was a really good port, this one was terrible. Don't get why (a)they waited so long to make this port, (b) why they didn't put a decent effort to at leat improve the graphics significantly, and why they bothered at all considering (a) and (b);

Heroes of Might and Magic IV - Doubt many have played it on this site, but it didn't hold a candle to Heroes III;

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within - I actually liked the art style, though I personally missed the use of excessive bloom. What I hated the most was all the violence and gore and the changing of the prince's personality. This game didn't have nearly half the charm of the first one, not to mention the writing wasn't as good and funny. And all this because "hardcore" gamers don't buy games unless they have violence in them and a badass as a main character..
