Aaah, I always forget attack names :P the only way I remember them is when I fight the same enemy over and over again.

Yeah, it's not like other Final Fantasy games where you have to start all over again from the first form of the final boss if you lose in one of it's phases :P

I don't know about Zeromus because I haven't played that Final Fantasy (are you talking about IV?) But I don't remember Necron being hard, I think I beat him in my first try without much trouble. By the way, I felt Necron's appearance was kind of... random :P

Yeah FFIV.

Necron is the harbinger of death when the crystal is destroyed. He is there to return everyone to a place without existence. The zero world where life overcomes death, but life is death. It was mentioned a few times in the game actually. Garland in Terra notes that life strives towards the zero world where death is overcome. Necron is the being that sends everyone there and awakens from the crystal's destruction.

In short, totally random.

Oh, I see :P I think in Versus XIII you're supposed to protect the last crystal from another empire or something like that... I wonder if something simillar to what happened in Final Fantasy IX is going to happen in Versus XIII if the crystal is destroyed... I think the goddess Etro is going to be in that game, and since she's like the goddess who opens the door to the world of death maybe she is going to be some kind of "Necron".

Or maybe I'm over-thinking... I can't stop thinking about Versus XIII xD, TGS can't come soon enough >_< 1 month and 1 day left for TGS, lol :P

Basically what we'll see is Etro, the goddess being explored in Versus XIII

And the other two, Lindzei and Hallowed Pulse in Agito XIII (lol I will need to see cut scenes of this game on youtube). TBH I am very concerned about Agito XIII sales after seeing PEace Walker sales in the west.....they should make a 3DS port at once imo.

There has to be some point for them being in the Fabula Nova Crystallis thingy, there's something the devs are hiding from us. It would be awesome if all the games link up to each other intricately.

yeah, thats the plan, which is why i didnt think there was much story in FF13, Fablua Nova is meant to last 10years, and be bigger than the Ivalice Alliance and FF7 compliation. so the story will be told over the course of those games. i also belive there are other gods, that we dont know about. and theres the truth about the arks, we also dont know.

theres gonna be more you know. i've heard about this FF13 Heresis rumour, and of course FF13 sequel. so i'm guessing these games are all connected in their mythology of the crystals. but by that logic i wouldnt bank on the story of FFversus being spectacular, because it has to be streched out over 3 other games, lol.

lol Versus XIII scenario just got completed a few weeks ago, so basically for the last 5 years they've been working on story/upgraded engine from FF13. So yeah lets hope the story is very good if they spent so much time on it, and Nojima is writing it so the script will be good.

Yeah the Haeresis Rumour, according to the rumour its for Wii, but I doubt thats the case anymore, it was probably moved to PSP or 3DS development, I think the Haeresis means "origin" so perhaps it will be a prequel to all the other FFXIII games and go into how the gods created the worlds, or how the gods were created. I am just hoping its on a console!

We know Agito XIII is about a war (maybe war between Gods who control humans...dunno).

And they will all be connected in mythology of the crystals, so God's and maybe "fairy tales" about the other FFXIII games, like you know FF9 had some parts where it had throwbacks to old FF's, maybe kinda like that.

I just want all of them to come out quickly!!!

Or maybe we're over-analyzing everything LOL

Oh and where does this leave FFXV? I think the FF12 team is doing that....

Lol, well we have been waiting patiently for 5 years for FF13, i'm also getting impatient. i remember akibafan told me that Agito is made by the FF9 team. so i think maybe other dev teams will be covering the other games is this series. i have no idea about Agito, but i'll probabily be getting a PSP soon for other games, so i'll probabily pick it up.

personally i think that FF13 direct sequel was always on the cards and it will explain Lindzel, etc. although if Versus explains Etro, it stands to reason they would have to explain the other gods and fal'cie as well. i think that the world of Versus and Agito, etc could be Pluse. the reason i think that is because FF7 compliation takes place on the same world, so does Ivalice Alliance.

yeah, FF15, lol. tbh, i'm more looking foward to FF15 more than anything else in the series, if its made by the FF12 team then it could be the conclusion to the Ivalice Alliance, and it could continue the style of game from FF12, which i preffered over FF13. (yeah we are over analysing!).
