yeah, you're right. I got really excited for it after the E3 showing. I expected it to be released in january or march.

True but when you have already been hyped for the game for two years alread its really annoying. Of course Id always takes their sweet time to make it perfect. They used to have no time limit I wonder if that changed since the joined Bethesda.

they are trying to go early and a little in holiday starting time so that they have the late year sales andeven no competition

well if john carmack said that doom 4 would be coming before rage then doom 4 could very well be released q2 of next year

There's no way Doom 4 will release without showing up at QuakeCon at least twice.

That's really what's so annoying about this release date though is that it's already been at E3 and QuakeCon this year, and it will be at both again next year. I was more excited for this game when it looked like it'd be out early next year. Now that it's still more than a year out, all I have to say is meh.
