Overall, it's a week as we could expect, very nice for XB360, but nice also for the others, considering the slow season. Sony should cut PSP price to $99 asap, as DS is expected to drop to $99 when 3DS launches.

Sure. Unless you want Sony's gaming division to go bankrupt.

i know his advice was crazy but why would SONY's division go bankrupt

I wish Sony did give up on the psp. Even though I have one, as cool as it is and the potential it has, it's kind of a disappointment, and I'd rather have more people/money going towards new ps3 exclusives.

SONY giving up the PSP will mean they give up on handheld maekt which is unnecessary as they are doing well for itself
also that will prove their 10 year commitment wrong and we could have the same then for future thing Playstation
and SONY giving up PSP won't just make people go for building more PS3 exclsuive as thei is only certain amount of games and studios you can run.they would have to people go or have losses themselves.you can see what EA are facing from expanding too much

Ok why would sony's division go bankrupt? Is this a legit question ? The walstreet journal had an article that Sony's most recent posting showed their PC & Gaming Division ( which includes the PS3 ) lost money. As a whole ( mostly thanks to Sony's financial services division Sony posted a fair profit. But the gaming division didn't make any money and again was in the red and had to be bailed out. Converse to that, the Xbox division ( by itself after paying bills ) posted a net profit of 38 million... We don't even have to mention nintendo who has tons of money from its record sales..
So looking at console sales and game sales doesnt tell us what the executives are thinking, because at MS and Sony they are thinking two very different things although you wouldnt think MS being up in consoles by only 5 million would matter, you have to factor in 360 is still cheaper to make, over the life of the console ( so far ) XB360 has sold about 50 million more games then the PS3 ( thats nearly 3 billion dollars ) , and lastly MS makes alot from Xbox Live.
So as a fan of Sony you might be wondering why Sony doesnt just drop the price. There's no way they can win a price war right now with Microsoft whose cost to make 360's is lower.
