I've only played 5 retail games this year, since I'm trying to catch up on my backlog. If I had to pick my favorite game of 2010 thus far, it'd either be No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, or 3D Dot Game Heroes. I suppose the winner is probably NMH2, although it definitely doesn't have as much content as Dot Game Heroes. After a while, Starcraft 2 will probably be right up there, but that will be after I put more time into it.

 

As for future 2010 games that might become a favorite? Well, if I have the time and money, Metroid: Other M, Golden Sun DS, and that's about it. :/ Not much on my radar this year.

u have listed almost all games but nice ranking though but i have small argue on god of war 3 as the game not deserve full score.in my opinion 9.5 for god of war 3

lol sorry thought it was about ALL the Games I enjoyed this year. But yeah God of War III would rank No.1.

And sure it's fine by me if you think GOW3 is a 9.5. But you have to know that I do not give Games a 10 because it's perfect. It's about the experience and how much fun I have playing the game and not whether it's perfect or not. Like every moment and Boss Fights are jaw dropping topped with superb gameplay and amazing graphics.

@Tanstalas I'm two trophies away from Platnium for GOW III and I just need to finish Titan and Complete the Labyrinth without dying

oh sorry then i have to check locked trophies for god of war 3 .but my question did trophies have big impact on games bcoz i dont care about trophies

Trophies don't exactly affect my game experience. Sure it's a satisfying reward but I don't play games for Trophies.

And I only go for Platnium in games that are actually acheiveable. Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, Tekken 6, Assassin's Creed II, Ratchet and Clank A Crack In Time and soon God of War III are all easy to platnium. If I really was a trophy hunter, then I would've platniumed Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy XIII, Heavy Rain, Transformers, Dragon Age, etc by now.

Although I'm with you, I have to give props to God of War III. I've not played a game with such razor sharp visuals, on such an epic scale. It would easily be my GOTY thus far without the existance of HR.
