I would need to upgrade my TV from SD to HD which would cost additional money. I think someone must give me a free PS3 or X360 or HD-TV. Else I will stay HD-free this generation.

Actually most games are fine on a SD TV. Dead Rising and Mass Effect 2 are the only I'm aware of that difficult to play on a SD TV. Most developers consider that a lot of people still play on SD TV.

A cheaper way to go is just to buy a monitor. It pretty easy to find a 20 inch for about a $100. Which is what I did.

But with the monitor, you will need speakers. Unless the model has those. I haven't seen many monitors with speakers lately.

Yeah, I got some good Logitech speakers for only $10. Ultimately, its still much cheaper than buying a HDTV and they have a better picture than budget HDTVs.

And if you want to be really cheap, you can still just use a CRT monitor. I did before I bought my flat screen monitor.

Good and logitech... do not compute. ;)

I already bought a 360, but I think I may have made a bad decision. Not because it is a bad console, actually there are a bunch of great games. But I should have bought a Ps2 instead because I do not own a HD TV yet. That´s the reality  of the world market and one of the reasons why the Wii is the leader. So I need Badly a HD TV too fully enjoy my 360 and that is still too expensive too me.

$149 for Xbox 360 with Kinect (and Kinect doesn't look that interesting to me).  (I actually picked up a 360 for <$130 a year ago that included about a dozen games).  I really paid too much for it as I enjoy  the wii far more and kinect is over priced.

$199 for PS3 with a move controller and one decent game.

Why post if you are not wii only owner?

I see you are not the only one doing that.

Because I owned the Wii first and only have a 360 because I was able to get a special deal for it.  If I wasn't able to get a good deal on the 360, I would still only have a Wii from this gen.  I wanted PS3 more than 360, but could not find a good deal on the PS3.

So, strictly speaking my opinions are still relavent to the question even though I happen to have a 360.

No, they are not. I asked comments from the people who don't already own a HD-console. Your post was exactly the kind of post which is not needed here.

Not interested at all... i don't see any really interesting games for me on HD-twins... I'd better keep my money for 3DS... ;)
