Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the series, it's not like I'm trolling here. But there's been a lot of pretty impressive games on the PS3 that have underperformed than what was anticipated. The Prologue has sold a lot, sure enough, but the fans of GT5 are dyed in the wool fans now, so I'm feeling that it's pretty safe to say that a LOT of fans bought it. It's a household name now. If such is the case, then my numbers might not be that off. |
You know Prologue is at 4.95 million shipped right? Also it has done a million more in Europe than your GT5 LTD prediction.
EDIT: Actually I see you revised your prediction. But it still has the same issues, if anything I'd say you're overestimating NA at least compared to Others.

The North America prediction is including Latin American sales. This will be the first GT game officially released in that region. God of War 3 has sold 45k in Brazil and Sony says they anticipate GT5 to do even better there so I would expect about 200k-300k lifetime in the region.

I mentioned this in another thread but for first week sales in EMEAA it's worth noting that it will most likely have 4 days to sell rather than just one. Currently most evidence suggests that it will be a WW release on November 2nd, a Tuesday rather than the traditional Friday.

as e don't know release dates now for eu n' japan.tgs should clear it
