Well I refuse to use the nunchuck since its motion controls yes?

So can i play Zelda swords and DKC and Kirby with the D-pad alone?

Kirby and Metroid other M just use the remote so you don't have to use the nunchuck.  DKC however uses the analog stick on the nunchuck for movement while you tap the A button on the wii remote to make your character jump so I think that title will have limited motion controls if any.

I dont even understand. Kirby "just" uses the remote? Well isnt that motion controls?

So bottom line is that all three of Kirby and Zelda swords and Donky Kong will require motion controls in some form, correct?

If Kirby is going to use a control scheme similar to Metroid other M than no it isn't motion controls.  You would hold the remote sideways and the experience would be similar to using the classic nes controllers where you would do everything with the dpad and the a or b buttons.  You would not have to shake the controller or use any type of motion controls everything would be strictly button based and that includes aiming, movement, jumping etc.

Good to hear. Now if only they make that possible for Donky Kong too then Ill be fine with Zelda Sword doing motion controls and Id buy a Wii for those 3 games.

They may make it possible for Donkey Kong I don't see why they wouldn't make it a option since they already have their major platformer Super Mario Galaxy 1 2 that pushes motion controls.

I am in a similar situation as you I have been looking at getting a Wii but I don't like motion controls.  That is why I have been playing close attention to what kind of controls the games that interest me use.  That way if I do decide to take the jump I can support the titles that give me an option to not use motion controls.

Cool. You keep yourself updated and I'll ask you about the status when Kirby is about to release (which I heard was 2011 sadly, correct?).

I will never touch a Wii. Even if its given free to me I'll sell it.

The games dont appeal to me EXCEPT Fatal Frame 4.

Ok I will.  Kirby is releasing this fall for people in the United States but Europe doesn't get it until 2011.  But they have said they want to release it in the first quarter in Europe so you could see it as early as January.

I would probably pick one up for $20-50 just so I could sell it for a higher place, but for personal use I have absolutely no interest in  one.

I dont really like the Wii library either, but I think theres at least a couple of games that should be of interest to any gamers out there. Did you meant not enough interest to purchase one or absolutely no interest in it?

Which are those couple of games that should be interesting to any gamers out there?

They will change depending on the type of games you play. Honestly, Wii have at least one good casual and hardcore title of all types of games. Now, out of those games, I cannot tell which one will be of interest to you. Between, its fine if you think theres not enough interest to justify a purchase, I think so too. Tough, I might take the Wii of a friend for 2-3 weeks in order to play the new metroid. Think about something for a minute, if you hate ALL Wii game, as well say you hate gaming.

My point was that there is no such game on any platform.

English isnt my first language, with the second post im sure you understood what I mean. Theres at least one game that fit any gamers taste, obviously, not the same game for everyone.
