The GameCube does still admittedly pale in comparison to the other Nintendo home consoles, but I wouldn't call it outright "terrible."

Interesting how much Pachter ties in sales with review scores. "Every point over 82 for MoH has got to be worth a couple hundred thousand in sales".

There's probably a loose correlation there, but it's not extrapolatable from one game to another.

Interesting there's some uncertainty over whether Reach will sell better than Black Ops (360 only). I would have thought it would be Reach the whole way without a question.

I don't think these guys watch the Halo Reach trailers and Bungie Video docs.

There is no way anyone educated enough could say Black ops looks better than Halo Reach right now when it comes to quality...

but black ops is so balanced! it also has a super cool remote control kamikazi car, and instead of a throwing knife from modern warfare 2, you get a propeling knife! and their is also a double knife stab, because stabing him with one knife isnt enough. yes it adds strategy. and you get a crossbow which throws exploding arrows(a.k.a a nerfed grenade launcher). and their is also those cameras which you can plant.oh oh and i forgot the game has an epic sense of strategy because everyone stays camping so it adds suspense/ends sarcasm

pachter and all of those gaming show hosts are paid to make the noobs happy. thats why they dont speak negetivley about black ops.

Seriously though, camping kills these games for me. When I have only 30 minutes to play a game in a day...which happens more and more these days as I am getting older...and I am on a map where everyone is sticking to walls and hiding, I want to hurl my controller at my TV.

I have limited time to have fun...lets get some freekin action happening!

as much as i hated halo 3 id rather buy reach then black ops. treyarch turned black ops into a nerfed out shooter where people use electric toy cars, propeling knifs, arrows, and magical helicopters to get kills.

yes its supposed to be about the best of the best, the black ops, but america wasnt that desperate in the cold war to create a kamikazi car which goes at 5 km/h to counter the nuclear missles of the soviet union.

Reach looks to be the better game on all aspects.

From what showed for COD Black ops it looks to be as scripted as ever which sucks. That helicopetr ride is going to be on very limited path from what I see. Why can't COD franchise integrate vehicles in tot he game like Halo or Battlefield and not change the gameplay completely whenever a vehicle section is present?

I will never forget the dissapointement when playing MW1...or any COD game infact and the following happens:

Game: "Pick up rocket launcher to go on"

Me: Err...what if I don't want to pick up the rocket laucnher and want to try beating the tank some other way...

Game:  "Pick up rocket launcher to go on"

Me: I have 5 guys here around me, why doesn't someone else pick up the rocket launcher and I can snipe?

Game: "Pick up rocket launcher to go on"
