I was going to come back in here and post some facts people may not know and dispute claims some made but after seeing this post I remember why I don’t argue politics. If a person is die heart one party they usually don’t dislike the other party based on facts but on personal opinions. When I read he never vetted a real job I cringed and said I’d never come back to this thread. Before I go let me throw a couple of facts your way mhsillen: Obama made millions off his book, He went to Harvard and became a civil rights lawyer and taught constitutional law, Michelle graduated with Cum Laude honors from Princeton and also went to Harvard for a law degree where she met Barack; though I don’t know this to be a fact but apparently becoming president was a decrease in pay since they are not both currently working. Don’t forget he was also a state senator.

Michelle just went on a vacation that cost $375,000 that we paid for, so while is pay might be less, I don't think there overall net gain is to shabby.

LOL people are complaining about Michelles trip, i said i was going to leave this alone but if you really care about how much presidents and their families spend on trips look up ole Bush and see how many millions they spent on vacation.The tax payer footed millions i dont have time to find you a factual link but google it, he spent 96 days on vacation in his first 18 months as president. He spent millions alone on jet fuel for his repeated trips to his ranch. You really dont here about his outragous spending during his presidency but if Obama golfs while there is a oil spill America is in a uproar.lol aight im done but like i said if your die hard one way you will never pay attention to the facts so there is no point in trying.

Well, enlighten us about Bush then, links please. And besides the point, two wrongs do not make a right, Obama was supposed to be change, he was supposed to be better than bush, but all I see is more of the same. How many other americans took a paycut recently? I really do not care if Obama could make more money not as president, it was his choice, and I am sure after being president he will rake it in. I really doubt he took a pay cut for the good of america, he did it because in the long term it is in his best interest. I am not die hard on any party, they both seem to spew the smae crap and get the same results. But again when did two wrongs make a right.

I'm not in a place where i can search google easily, if you have google type in bush vacation spending and you will see through the many sites that pop up data based on facts.The only problem i have with what you just said is two wrongs dont make a right? There are also facts on how JFK and Reagan spent many of their days as president on vacation but its not a crime in my book. The only reason i even bought up the bush spending is because people are bashing the obamas for taking a trip and how much it cost but no one cared about all past presidents. Yes I would debate the stupidity of Biden. He gets a pass for saying things such as"Obama is a clean well spoken black person"  And he gets a pass for saying that.  That is stupid

And quotes attributed to Palin are actually things that were said on SNL by Tina Fey playing Palin.  And the MSM still thinks they came from Palin herself. A person has to be blind not see the bias in the last election.  They went out of there way to attack Palin and her family while giving President Obama a red carpet to the white house
