The parade of game delays continues today as Activision has announced that True Crime: Hong Kong for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360has been delayed to 2011. The announcement was made as part of their second-quarter earnings report.
"Activision Publishing has moved the anticipated release date for its upcoming open-world action title, True Crime: Hong Kong, from 2010 to 2011 in order to give the development team more time to deliver the high-quality entertainment experience they envision for the game," the report states.
Games are often delayed for quality or competition reasons. There aren't too many open world action games in the same vein as True Crime scheduled so we can only assume that quality argument here is true.
