Plants vs. Zombies is coming out September 8, launching with new co-op and versus multiplayer modes. I dunno if I'm getting it, but I'm definitely checking out the trial!

PvsZ is a great and fun tower defense game, I played it on Mac last year.

Although the iPhone/iPod touch version of the game doesn't include most of the mini-games or the Zen garden, it still has the whole single player mode and lots of extras. It was a steal to only get it for $2.99, and I loved every minute of it. Great tower defense game.

These new modes sound great as well, hopefully I'll get to try it, as my brother also has it on his computer.

In retrospect, this may very well have been my favourite game released last year.

Not sure I'd want to play it with a controller, but for those who don't mind this is a must buy if you even only slightly like tower defense games.
