Forums - Sony - UK PS Plus users not getting enough content?

"In the month of July, UK members received 12 premium items (discounts and free content), including Wipeout HD, bagging them a huge saving of £37.18, almost justifying an entire full year’s subscription. However, across the sea, 45 items were available to American users, clocking in at a combined savings of roughly $148, totting up at around £95, meaning US subscribers are getting more than double the bang for their buck."

"As mentioned earlier, a full year’s membership is priced at £40/$50, meaning UK residents have drawn the short straw again with $50 being the equivalent of just £32.50. For the non-mathematicians out there, this means American subscribers are only paying around 80% the price UK residents would have to, yet they are receiving twice as much content."

"This is not to say I think PlayStation Plus is a no-goer, but I personally won’t be signing up until some level of parity is realised and every PlayStation 3 owner is getting their fair share, regardless of geographic location."

Who do you blame here? SCEE for honoring the deal and providing 1 PSN title, 2 Minis, 1 PS1 classic and themes and avatars each month like promised?

Or do you blame SCEA for giving us new stuff each week and going well beyond what they initially promised us?

To me it seems like the main difference here is the discounted content, not the free items.

Either way supposedly in a blog post SCEE has said they are going to try and keep up with the US offerings and SCEA says that PSN Plus content will now be added twice a month instead of every week.
