Since the end of R2 all I have was "it's going to have Capelli as the main guy" or "Hale isn't dead so he will be back" I guess people forgot about the psp game. At the end of the psp game the main character is seen to have eyes like Hale and wasn't he in Russia where the Chimera emerged? Don't be surprised if R3 takes place in Russia since it makes sense to go to the source of the problem and deal with instead of trying to fight off invasion. The main guy from Retribution has a deep hatred for the Chimera and to leave the psp ending untouched would be stupid, aging this my OP but I'm saying it now......R3 will be in Russia and James Grayson will be the main character.

Wasnt the PSP version a prequel to Resistance:FOM,  and wasnt Grayson in Resistance:FOM as a really old man?

Anyway, as for the topic.  I dont see it happening that way.   Hale is too big a part of Resistance to just dump him.  He isnt dead because Capelli suffers from hallucinations because of the program they are all in that I cant remember the name of.   You find that info in one of the collecable intels.  

To just drop Hale for Grayson would be a bad idea.   if they want to continue both stories Im fine with that, but they cant get rid of Hale yet. 

R3 is going to be in New York. obviously.

Well it was implied that James Grayson died. But it would be interesting.

I think it will be a completely new character, theres so much going on and much more to explore in the Resistance storyline, I can't wait for the third one and the second book

I don't believe Hale is dead. Since he evolved and got the powers from Shepherd somewhere along the story shepherd goes on saying that he cant be killed by bullets. It should apply to Hale as well since he acquired Shepherds power.

i think hale will still be the lead character as long as the resistance series is being made, like a certain spartan is the main character in that series.  i really like the hale character and i wana see how the 3rd one continues his story,  i also would like to see hale get control of his powers and use them to fight back the invasion.

Heres hoping R3 announcement at Gamescom. Email i got from Insomniac newsletter says they will be "showing and demo new playstation 3 project at penny arcade expo". Im positive its R3 with April release.
