This one isn't a bad game per se. But God of War 3 really let me down. 2 was just leagues better.

I've been told that Too Human was lackluster.

Portable Ops.

MadWorld (Platinum Games)

Wii Music (Nintendo EAD)

Lost Planet 2 (Capcom)

Pretty much everything they've done on consoles this gen (tri-Ace)

Square-Enix has made a couple of bad games throught the years but if any one of them deserves to be mentioned here it's Unlimited Saga (better known as Unlimited Pain-in-the-butt).

Hey! I still have Oni lying around somewhere... I liked the anime style back then and didn't know much about good game design, so I thought it wasn't that bad, if not exactly good either.

BioWare's Sonic game (the Dark Brotherhood) I heard was terrible. Coincidentally, their name also starts with a B... Weird.

That was the first thing that came to my mind. BioWare's been riding this high on Mass Effect and Dragon Age recently that gives them the aura of being the developer with the Midas touch, but Sonic Chronicles was a bad game by any standard. The only thing good in it was the core battle mechanics (that made good use of the touchscreen and formed a surprisingly cunning strategy), and everything else was butchery. Horrendous cutscenes that looked like they were made by someone who didn't really understand Flash all that well, an atrocious story even by Sonic standards which completely jumped the shark midway through when they sent everyone out to outer space adventure with random aliens, and just an overall incredibly bland and generic game-world.

BioWare was able to dodge that flop somehow, not taking a lot of heat for it. But it definitely proves that there are dregs in that group.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
