Forums - Sony - ModNation Racers "Loading" issue fix & more patch now available.

ModNation Racers is indeed a good game, however, the game was plagued with loading issues. Have no fear, the patch that solves that problem is finally here.

The next time the player boots up the game while connected on the PlayStation Network, an update will be prompted, allowing the player to download the patch. The patch that is currently available not only fixes the loading issues but it also addresses some of the other issues as well. This includes adding a casual difficulty setting for gamers who are having a hard time with the game.

Please take note that some of the players might not receive the patch right away. It all depends on when the DNS to the PlayStation 3 refreshes. Some players may get it right away while others may have to wait for a few more hours.

I haven't downloaded it yet, just got home 10 minutes ago. Can anyone comment on the loading times?

Yes the loading is better now and you can get in career without going into the modspot now.

Hmm, how much better? Because I've held off buying the game until this patch, I played the game at my mates a few weeks back, and the loading time sucked SO bad, we waited over 5 minutes from starting the game up to getting into a race, which to be honest, is terrible.

you still feel the loading exist, but its not going to get you off your seat and make a sandwish
