So basically you can only get NBA Jam on PS3 or Xbox 360 if you purchase NBA Elite '11, and then use the download code to acquire the game from XBL/PSN, and that version is the stripped-down version (voiding the speculation that some had that a cheaper and more feature-rich version would appear instead), though its only missing one or two modes.

An odd move on EA's part, and one that seems to be optimizing resentment, judging from the joystiq comments anyway.
