MW2 is like a walk in the park compared to every other CoD game on Veteran :)

How far did you get in WaW ?

I got to the mission where your supposed to snipe an important dude (its pretty close to the beginning) and thats where I gave up......on hardcore

I donr MW1 on Veteran first playthrough. It was tough, but easier than Legendary on Halo 3 for example.

If you're talking about singleplayer, I fully agree. Even though I can't really tell, because I never tried Halo 2, Halo 3 or ODST on Legendary when I was playing alone.

Completed them in co-op with 1 friend and know there are many tricky parts, where we got our asses whipped and I was very happy that I wasn't playing alone in those times.

Yeah. Single player is a bitch on Legendary. The bit in Halo 3 when your on the road to New Mombasa. And you come to a canyon type area with Pipes. On your own in Legendary thats some controller thrower.

Alan wake would probably be good along with deadly premonition.

ill probably gamefly alan wake not to sure about the replay value. what is deadly premonition?

Dude. Trust me. Alan Wake is worth owning. They are planning so much DLC Episodes to continue the story up to AW 2.

It is unbelievable. Unbelievable.

Also games that are a must and fairly cheap now:

Ninja Blade

Ninja Gaiden 2

Lost Odyssey

Mass Effect 1 and 2 ( You owe this to yourself )

Forza 3

Fable 2

Splinter Cell Conviction

This should be a fantastic start.

Of course the others you mention to.

Naa that game was wank. Otherwise, that's a nice list of games that aren't hard on the wallet.

If it matters to you i bought TODAY (2/8) Alan Wake , Dead Space and wil get next Week Batman AA. 3 Great Games that i havent played yet. Going to play now :D Also Pre Ordered Reach , Fable 3 and Black Ops.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 obviously.

Alan Wake is a very good game with a fantastic story.

Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia for JRPGs (In that order IMO)

Crackdown for endless fun

Call of Duty 2 is a bit old now, but still a very good singleplayer FPS.

Ninja Blade is a good action game

Get a play & charge kit. Other than that I don't think you need any more accessories

Glad to see you suggest this. Out of curiosity, how would you rank all of the CoDs Barozi?

hard to say

I see them as two different series (WW2 and MW) and I usually don't like comparing stuff between them.

I could only do a campaign ranking since I have only played CoD, MW and MW2 online.

1. CoD 4 (bit short but blew me away)
2. CoD 2 (played the PC demo level over 50 times)
3. CoD
4. CoD MW2 (not memorable enough, except for No Russian)
5. CoD WaW
6. CoD United Offensive
7. CoD 3
8. CoD 2 Big Red One

Only CoD game I don't own: CoD Finest Hour. But I don't think I'm missing out on anything great there.

haha, I completely agree with your list, although I haven't played Big Red One or United Offensive (and don't particularly want to either). I could be tempted to put WaW above MW2 though, based on its pretty battlefield cut scene intros.

If I hadn't played both campaigns on veteran I would probably agree.

But I still have nightmares about those damn grenades...

WaW story > MW2 story by a landslide IMO

And listen to pearljammer, the wise man who not only likes David Bowie but also recommended the excellent HD remakes of my most favourite game ever: The Secret of Monkey Island 1 and 2 (available on XBLA/PSN/Steam/D2D)

You know, of all the games I'd listed, Monkey Island 1 and 2 would definitely be at the top. Timeless classics that no gamer should miss out on. It has perhaps my favourite script ever written in a videogame.

And, yes, although unrelated, I highly recommend some Bowie.
