You ain't lying, brother. The PSP has tons of wasted potential that Sony doesn't seem to mind neglecting. I buy a lot of older games and it would be nice to be able to play them online. If people knew what I was playing, maybe they'd be willing to join me. I wouldn't even mind if it were displayed on my PS3 (ie: d21lewis playing Hot Shots Tennis on PSP) as long as people could join or send me messages.

you can..its called Ad Hoc party! it allows all those local multi games to become online playable..like SF3 and Powerstone for example.

Yeah. I downloaded that when it first came out (and I've actually managed to play SF Alpha 3 online). But does it let my friends on my PS3 friends list know that I'm using it or which game I'm playing? I honestly don't know.
*edit* I just noticed the highlighted part. My point was that, unless you are insanely lucky, the odds of somebody playing some old game online at the same moment that you're looking for them online is pretty slim. If there was a friends list, somebody might notice that you're playing Syphon Filter Dark Mirror and challenge you/set up a game. With no friends list, it's pretty much just "search until you find a game". The good thing about Ad Hoc Party is that you can join a room and look for people--even in games that only support local online. It just needs better implementation.
