Forums - Sales - Missed Opportunities for $$ by Publishers on Current Systems

Contrary to popular belief, being exclusive is a good thing for sales a lot of the time.

Time for hype

Around the Network

Resident Evil 5 for Wii is a pretty good example. I wouldn't have sold as well as the HD versions, but it would have been a profit to Capcom neverthless

RE 5 for the Wii was a no brainer

It's not out yet but Megaman Universe for the Wii, considering MM9 sold best on WiiWare

I always wonder how MH3 would do on the PS3

Sould Calibur IV on Wii would have probably been the best selling version if they added Link as a character again

Most of those titles for the Wii are on old Nintendo consoles, outside of Resident Evil 4 which was pretty close to the Wii's launch, there's no evidence that those titles would have sold well on the current platform. Some of them didn't even sell that well on the PS3/360.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
