I just thought that I ask some friends that aren't gamers to join and watch...It was funny since we talked whole time about what's gonna happen, what should I do, how did this happen and such..So this is 1 way I can see why Heavy rain could had changed gaming, not sure did it.

sounds fun for you,but i don't think it changed anything,

i like the game apart from the shaking of the controller,i don't get why they have to include it,i find it unnecessary in the qte

well not the same experience:

I had 3 of my friends come over my house who are very pro MS and saw me playing Uncharted 2  from the beginning of the train level(with elena driving the truck onwards) and they were pretty much in awe... at first started knocking on me for playing my PS3 then after a couple of minutes just stood there quietly.

one of them bought a PS3 two weeks later=)

I love that story

Uncharted 2 would be the game to shut them up.

@OT, I think Heavy Rain lends itself towards marathon gaming sessions. My friend and I sat there and played the game all night and I then finished the game the next day. Since its such a single player experience only, you wouldnt think others would prefer that to be the game of choice, but the game is just so much fun to watch
