Forums - Sony - Recommend some Little Big Planet levels

So, with some persuasion from my 9 year old girl, I picked up a copy of Little Big Planet about a month ago.  The game was pretty and innovative but at the same time, it felt a little generic.  The reason for this, I soon realized, was that all of the stages were made with the exact same tools that users could use to create their own levels.  The "story" mode was just there to show you the potential.  Well, I'm a busy man.  I've got big things going on.  Big things.  I don't have time to create my own stages.  I also don't have time to wade through crappy user created stages.

I just watched the Little Big Limbo video and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed.  If user created levels are this good, based on a game that's just been released, what other amazing games are out there?  Well, today I'm gonna try some user created levels.  Anybody want to recommend some for me?  I've got cookies............

d21, pretty much think of your favourite games, movies etc, and search for them...theres bound to be an awesome level or 2.

I would go to http://www.lbpcentral.com/ and then look through the featured artists in their creator spotlights.  That's what I did and I found some great levels by guys like JackofCourse, Poms, and a few others I'll have to remind myself of when I get back to the PS3.

I read the description of some of those games MUGEN (sorry.  I'm a man.  I don't have periods.) listed.  Un-fucking-believable.  Looks like I've got plenty to keep me busy. 

Anybody else, feel free to recommend some levels.  In the meantime, I've got a lot on my plate!  Thanks, guys!!

There are some awesome God of war 3 levels where you fight Hades and swim through the river of souls

And any level with SHARK in it =)

Well, I just went online and played a few.  I'd pick a level (aka: a cool level) then my kid would pick a level (aka: a cute level).

All I can say it "wow".  All this time and I've never even thought twice about playing user created levels.  We just played story mode and called it a day.  I've been exposed to a whole new world.  What some of these people have managed to do with LBP is inspiring!  I've wasted so much time ignoring one of this games best features.  Amazing.  I may have to give Mod Nation Racers a shot, too.  This is like finding out that your girlfriend that you were thinking about breaking up with has been shitting gold nuggets her entire life and you never even knew about it.
