Agreed. I need more 2D fighting games besides Guilty Gear and Smash Bros.

I wouldn't even accept 2.5d tbh, it just wouldn't feel the same fro me. Basically I'll accept SFIII's gameplay with a complete graphic makeover with a more balanced range of characters.

As for returning characters Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Akuma are definites. Would love to see Yang, Urien, Hugo and Ibuki from III return.

I dropped out of console games before the Street Fighter series got big, and got back in only after it hit the crapper. This one just might get my interest if it turns out good.

Not releasing this game for the Wii would be a bit of a blunder, due to little competition in the fighting genre, and the overwhelmingly highest profit margin. It's not like a game like this is going to have anything the Wii couldn't run anyway, and this is Capcom we're talking about here.

They were one of the last third parties to seriously support the Gamecube, and so far working on the Wii has worked very well for them. Their list of upcoming releases is slim to say the least, consisting entirely of Monster Hunter 3 and a port of Okami, while the PS3 has a port and 4 new games, including RE5 and DMC4, on the way. Something tells me the currently announced information won't match what eventually gets released.

the only thing about a wii version would be the controls. it could easily avoid motion sensing, but using an analogue stick for street fighter just does NOT work, and the wiimote's d-pad isn't right for the game either.

 The character roster from SF3: 3rd Strike was the best, imo.  It had all the guys from 2 and 3.

Its going to be a shodow like rendered game(I predict).

Its going to be 2,5 D, with the dark shadows u;ll understand soon.
