Ebay Auction

Wow, I don't normally check ebay for this type of stuff, but after hearing about some recent price gouging stories going on over there I decided to check it out for myself.

That is pretty ridiculous by itself but there are also tons of these as well.  Basically people are selling envelopes with slips of paper in them.  If the slip of paper happens to say "Wii" or whatever you win if not you lose...they usually sell like 20 envelopes and only let a single person purchase 5 of them.  The thing is how many people really believe that any of these envelopes have a winner in them.

I think most people realized there was some scamming going on over at ebay but I was sort of surprised at the sheer amount of scamming that takes place and without anything being done to protect their customers.   

Well some people are dumb.

So long as this remains true, someone will try to take advantage of them.

You know they're crazy. I do agree though that something should be done about those "envelope" scams. They say explicitly in their auctions that all you're bidding on is an envelope. lol. douchebags.

Speaking of scams, I'm currently making an average of $150 profit after fees and shipping on my Wiis
