Time Splitters is a great series. I hope it comes to the Wii.

I hope it does, I loved TS2 on GameCube, twas my favourite game for the system after Windwaker.

Hell yea, best gamecube fps ever! There is so much content in that game and Its so much fun to unlock every single unique and wacky character. Not to mention it helped ease the drought the gamecube was having at the time.  I also have TS3 but it lost most of its charm trying to be a pure fps with gernades, story and vehicles. Yuck

If this image is any indication, im guessing that there gonna make parodys of all the latest fps's for thier next installment. Halo, GoW, Haze, Turok, CoD, Bioshock and maybe even MP3. (Just a guess) I know all of this is unlikely, but oh well.

MoNkAY NiNJAH FTW!

Omg the TS2 Monkeys lol, the memories..

I am still waiting... But my gut says with this success, they will make it happen.

I remember countless gaming sessions of TS 2 (FP was not as good) I remember in particualar the mine only set up, where all the walls would be lined with proximity mines etc, loved the monkeys of course, and the best part, something which games seem to forget these day; bots!!! for offline multiplayer deathmatches, CoD, RSV, GRAW 2 and R; FoM (+ Warhawk) all seemed to forget it.

TS2 was one of the only decent console FPSes ever made, but it still had analogue aiming which just plain sucks.

TS + Wiimote aiming = FUCK YEAH!

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

@ Smash Brother, if you've only every used analogue aiming, then you'll have no problem with it

That's true, but a lot of us grew up with (and still use) mouse aiming.  We have trouble with analog aiming because it's simply much slower and much less precise.

On a different interview or maybe the same one i cant remember it did say they would use the same engine as they did with HAZE, if i remember correctly....anyone who reads N4G daily will probably know which one i mean.

My guess though is it will go to PS3 AND Wii mainly because if they use the UE3 engine it is possible because the UE3 engine is being optimized for the Wii. I know it sounds weird but i dont doubt it...this is Free Radical we are talking about...there not exactly the most traditional developer which makes them head and shoulders above the rest :D

If it only comes out for the Wii i might buy a Wii because i do really want it and maybe by then there will be games on the Wii i actually want to play.

End of 2014 Hardware Predictions (03/03/14)

PlayStation 4: 12-15million

Xbox One: 7-10 million

Wii U: 8-9 million (Changed 01/04/2014 from 7-9 --> 8-9 million)

I can't find that interview, but I did find a few interesting ones while looking:

“Let’s just say there is a Wii in the office.” - Rob Yescombe

“Personally, as a gamer, I think it has definite potential (as a first-person shooter controller). It can be done, you can get really great FPS controls with the Wii. I think it has huge potential there.” - Derek Littlewood

Q: Dear Free Radical,

I’ve heard rumors that Time Splitters 4 is under development. I was wondering if you can confirm this and if it will be on all major home consoles(XBox 360, PS3, and Wii)?

A: R107 Says (FR team member):

Absolutely 100% guaranteed, yes. It IS in development. But, we’re a long way off deciding what platforms it’ll be on.

Wii - Yes we like we too.

“Nope. No idea about platform, everything is a possibility, everyone’s wild fantasies can be entertained,” Rob cheekily informed us."

I find this one interesting and suggestive towards a PSWii60 release.  The other ones above suggest that they are at least making Wii games.  The other thing that suggests PSWii60 to me is that the game is clearly going to be making fun of video games on all platforms.
