Forums - Sony - Move will ONLY work with RE5 gold edition

I'm sure it can be patched.

Around the Network

The official word from Capcom is that the original code compilation of RE5 uses memory resources that cannot be allocated for use with Move as it was completed before the announcement of Move and the release of the Move SDKs.

Sure it's bad for those who bought the game when it initially came out, but not terribly surprising either.

Hopefully anyone who was planning on playing RE5 with Move didn't already buy all the DLC inlcuded in the Gold SKU, which would be even worse.

Hope Heavy Rain is available as a patch and not just a new "Move Edition" SKU.

Pretty sure Gold Edition hasn't been discontinued in the States. It's still available new from Amazon.

The Move controls are also said to be very precise as well and dynamic and plays better than RE4 does with Wii motion controls.

The first thing I noticed about the Move controls were how precise and fluid they were. We’re still looking at wrist motion, but it’s so much more dynamic – unlike the Wii’s Resident Evil 4

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!
