Firstly you listen to the RROD song:

Then you contact Microsoft.

I think you go to MS's website and get them to ship you a coffin. You send them a loaded box, and some time later they return to you an xbox which is risen from the grave in true zombie fashion.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event." — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

here's vid on how to fix your x360 all by yourself in no time

kopboi - how old is your X360? The manufacturing date?
If it did give you the 3 red rings, call Microsoft, and tell them it did this just after the update.
They will ship you, within 2-3 Business Days, a 'Coffin'. It's pre-paid, so you just have to take it to UPS or wherever, and send it to them. Takes about 2 weeks total, from the call to you getting it.
When you get it back, profit with the fact you get some freebies from MS.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
@ OP )
my condolences - hopefully you'll receive your new/repaired unit quickly , although this certainly is a bad season for the rrod :(
Yeah, really bad RROD timing! My condolences.
There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.
