It was strange that these games were getting such press when there was worse things out there. Here's a few that I could think of. Can you think of any more? 1. Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude: This game features a full on sex scene with flopping boobs and a guy in a carrot costume. It had full frontal nudity, too! There was even a chick with a, uh,.....stick! Nobody even gave it a second look. 2. BMX XXX and The Guy Game: Screw the pixelated women! These two games featured video footage of real boobs!! Of course, it was nothing worse than any R-Rated movie in the 80's but at the time, game boobies were taboo. Why didn't CNN run a story on these games? 3. Kung Fu (Nes): In the early 90's, Nintendo garnered praise for censoring violence in games like Mortal Kombat. Good for them. Nintendo was there to protect our children from seeing Sub-Zero punching somebody's head off! But wait. I played Kung Fu in the 80's. This game, created by Nintendo, featured a scene where you kicked an old man's head off!! WTF, Nintendo? 4. Resident Evil 2 (PS1): There's a part where you end up playing as a spunky little 12-year old named Sherry Birkin. For whatever reason (I can't remember), Sherry has to run through a room infested with zombie dogs. The dogs are pretty retarded and if one bites you, you should quit playing video games and start playing Candyland. But, if you are sadistic enough to let the dogs kill Sherry, you're treated to a scene of a little girl getting eaten alive by dogs. Nobody thought this was innapproriate? That's all I have right now. If I can think of any more, I'll add 'em. So what'cha got? |
