As the title suggests, I'm starting to get irritated by SCEE's crappy PS Store updates whilst SCEA Store Updates are always good.

I'm sort of a picky guy so even the smallest things can slightly annoy me. The US Store always gets a good batch of Trailers and Wallpapers each week whereas the EU Stores update with so little content in regards to other media stuff like Trailers. For example, the US Store has a massive bunch of E3 2010 Trailers whereas the EU Store is lackin in comparison to the US. I'm a guy who loves watching epic trailers time to time and the fact that there were so many good E3 Trailers and yet I couldn't download them off the EU Store is just ridiculous.

Yeah people say there's the alternative way of just making an US PSN Account but I shouldn't have to make an US Account to download content. I should be able to download things from the EU Store equally as the US.

And sure SCEE has to cover a much larger region of Stores but then Sony should have more people working at SCEE on the contents so that whatever the US gets, EU gets the same.

I can't wait to go to the States soon for College so that I can now get used to the US PlayStation stuff.

Seriously, SCEE needs to do something about these kind of things.

Make a US PSN account. Seriously.

It won't take 5 minutes, and you can throw out those complaints out of the window.

I really don't look into the EU store anymore for content, I just use it for online gaming. The US store is just better in every way.

If the EU store already annoys you, then look into the german store in particular. You can't even download any trailer/demo (or even wallpaper!!) which is rated 16 or 18   -.-

Everytime I look at the PS EU Blog's Store Update posts, there's ALWAYS something that is not available in Germany. So it lists a specific DLC and then it says "Not Avaliable in Germany" like wtf?!! Sony seriously should not be doing sometihing like this when GT5 arrives coz everyone knows EU is the region for GT and Germany is big for GT.

And another thing that annoys me. How hard is it to bring FirstPlay into other Regions? Why is is so hard to bring FirstPlay to Australia an NZ for example? I just don't get it really...

If you set up an account with Malta as a country you won't be getting Store or Home. Just thank goodness that at least these are in place :)

The reason why there are so many things that are not available in Germany is that Sony is afraid of the german youth protection, I guess. German politicians don't want to see free 16 or 18 rated stuff like demos or trailer available for youths. I don't think it would be a problem if Sony releases these things in the german store, but they are simply too careful IMO.

About FirstPlay, I don't know much about it, but I think I read somewhere that Sony first wants to try if it is a success in the UK and then bring it to other countries/regions. But I'm really not sure about that.

I've heard the EU store is much better. People always complain about the store updates in the American playstation blog. I agree that there should be such different content across all of the regions. It should be as close to the same content as possible. lol
