It's a good game and liking it better than I liked the demo. I'm enjoying it and most of the people at work are really digging it.

My only problem is that some places you can drop long distances and just not care and then other places where you aren't supposed to drop you can drop shorter distances and not die. Little gripe, just more of an annoyance.

Ditto. I also get tired of shooting the same people over and over again. They spent so much time making the landscapes beautiful, they could have varied the enemies and the way they fall over a little bit more. Then again, I have only played the first level.

They are over 50 identicle looking enemies to kill in that level with no variation.

I am at the point where I found the wreckage of the plane, so I admit I'm not very far. But so far, the repetition of enemies is annoying.

wel its going to be released in the UK soon. Should push some numbers soon.

Great game, WAY too damn short.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

i think uncharted will do really well in "others"

RR7 is still my favorite racing game this gen so far.  Last gen it was Double Dash and Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix, which I believe was $20.  What a steal.

Funny.

Double Dash was an okay racer if not for the fact that all but five or six karts were actually worth using.

Bleh I LOATHED double dash >< the game just fealt slow by compare to 64, I really didn't like the character selection, and I thought the whole 2 player per kart thing was really lame, I remember shooting, and steering just fine with 1 person >_>. The fact that you could co-op to have one person shoot, one person drive was beyond me. God I hope the Wii version is better :/'

[EDIT] But back on topic!!!! Umm yeah I don't know if I'd want to play the un-scensored version :D I like the acting, blood, and cursings just fine :P Oh and to the guys above complaining about the enemy variation, according to the director of the game it's supposed to feel like the old Pulp action movies, where they'd use the same looking guys over and over, your supposed to be mowing through generic baddies :D

From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.

I seriously hated that bellowing twat in Ridge Racer though... Especially when he told you to hurry up. SHUT THE F... UP! Could he be turned off? I don't remember.

You know the "Riiiidge Raaacer" thing isn't a reference to the actual content of the Ridge Racer game, right?

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
