I've never played LoL - just hoN, and from what I hear hoN is better than LoL


LoL is a lot of fun and much more original, it also gets more regular patches and is free to play. And with the ladder system now in and the start of season one which has a $100,000 in prises it looks like it is going to be the better choice for competitive play (not that I am good enough for that). and it's free to play to boot.

Well not a starcraft fan so it doesn't do me so much...I care more about the ME2 launch trailer ^^'...
Maybe Cliché aswell but that doesn't mean it is bad in my book.

I am wrong? Have you even played it? It doesn't use the D&D ruleset and doesn't take place in the D&D universe. For these type of games, the D&D setting matters to me, and I prefer the game to be in 2D, as the handdrawn environments in Baldur's Gate have much more personality then the ugly polygons in Dragon Age.

Forgot about it, im a very active HoN gamer myself.

I tried LoL, but the animations and visuals wasn't my cup of tea. I also thought the maps and competitive gaming was a bit off compared to HoN, but we all have different tastes.

I also like the community, replays, ladders and frequent patches they bring. S2 are a great bunch of people, even before HoN.

I love it, a step up from DotA but still feels like DotA.  Too bad I suck at both, rolling with a 0.5kdr and 1300 psr atm in hon... well maybe less than 1300 :P

I never played DotA, or any game like it before. Had some friends always talking about DotA over Vent, that later went on to play HoN while i was killing newbs at CoD:MW. But they convinced me to try it out and i got an invite for the beta. And i was hooked :) They all quit playing but im still at it.

Was damn hard at the start because i had no idea how to play the game, what items worked with what hero, what skills the heroes had and how they worked. I didn't even know you could eat trees for HP at the start. But now im at 1650 1.1 K/D.

Personally I thought for a Sci-fi game Mass Effect 2 had a more epic trailer. Almost made me go out and buy an Xbox360...almost.
