O_o niceeee!!! Im still waiting for the game that's in between twilight and WW.

Fairly certain those ended up in separate timelines, if you subscribe to that theory (and part of me finds the whole debate rather pointless, but i just can't help myself). Twilight Princess would be the successor to the Adult ending of OoT, where Ganondorf was sealed, and Wind Waker was set well after the child ending, where Ganondorf was not and Link went away anyway (to Termina), thus leading to downfall. Plus in the child timeline the legend of the hero would've been just that, and not something that actually happened.

Actually Twilight princess follows the young link timeline when Link comes back from the adult timeline, he tells everyone Ganondorfs plan and they try and the sages try and execute him but fail so they send him to the twilight realm as a last ditch effort to stop him. Windwaker follows the adult link timeline because in the adult timeline ganondorf is seal away somewhere else(not the twilight realm) and he breaks out. There was no hero to stop him so the gods flood the world to stop ganondorf. Also hyrule castle has the stained glass of the Oot sages which were awakened during the adult links timeline

Given that Skyward Sword happens before Ocarina of Time, this means that it even happened before The great Hylian War, so this may equal to no Ganondorf appearence!

Unless in his birth or the coming of the Evil Thieves, if we get the chance to see him.

Is this the one you are talking about?  It's my personal favorite and I tend to follow it.  Of course, since the new game takes place before OoT then this timelime can still be held true.  It would take place before the split.  But who knows.

I got to say diablerie, that was quite entertaining and explains most of the theories and possible facts of the different versions Links/Ganondorfs and the timeline. He forgot about Nabooru was also a potentail candidate to be the mother of Link in TP, but that's very minor speculation.

And here goes 10 more years of zelda fanboys arguing whether the split time theory. Seriously, I love zelda but people arguing whether or not there is a timeline always looked ridiculous.

That was one part of that video that made no damn sense at all. How could that only be a one-generation gap, where virtual clones of both Link and Zelda emerge, and they've completely rebuilt Hyrule town and castle, all in the span of maybe 30 years? Generations span between that, at least.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Final boss: Baby Ganondorf! :D

Well, now nobody can argue about it anymore.  There is a timeline.  We just don't know the official one.

I think it's moreso to rile the fans up than anything else.

Although now that it's confirmed that this takes place before OoT... *crosses fingers for Ganondorf* It better happen!

Not only that; it could be about his rise to power/evil/madness!

Wait, this Link is Ganondorf!

Hrm... *reads article again*

“The only people to have access to that document are myself, Mr. Miyamoto and the director of the title."

Who is this mysterious director?

*2011*

M. Night Shyamalan?!

That directors name and anything talking about zelda should be atleast 150 words apart. Just having his name close to it may ruin the game.

I just don't believe it.  I think a few of the games are "linked" but for the most part, they're seperate tellings of the same story.

Which is kinda getting old.
