Well hopefully they'll get him on board, and he can adapt the battle system to cater to the fans who didnt like FF12. but if FF13 has taught us anything, its that Kitase shouldnt be in charge of the next one.

However, Final Fantasy 10 was awesome, and FF13 is still pretty good when compare to overall jRPGs. Both are better than 12 in my opinion.

due to Matsuno's track record and skill he'd wipe the floor with every FF made in the last decade....though that wouldn't take much.

FF10 was okay, the story, battle system were actully really good. but tidus and yuna... were awful. i've heard Kitase is qualified in the field of film study, which would explain why theres too many cutscenes in FF13 & 10. imo his character personalities are always too over the top and predictably blande. i think if Matsuno finished FF12 it would have been a lot better than 10 & 13.

I'm glad this is coming out as I was at one time going to buy an insanely expensive copy of it on ebay for the ps1, glad that won't be happening...lol

 

slowly but surely the psp is becoming the "games I loved on the PSP, but either sold or never owned" system.
