No, it's an original game, but it uses some of the same settings. It's not a direct remake though even, and Activision won't directly call it one for legal reasons.

im going with wii, though the PC has a incredible line-up. the PC would be a major contender for me if it werent for the fact that my graphics card sucks and most games wouldnt work with it...cant wait for Cataclysm though.
All I know is that Kirby >>> Every other exclusive on all platforms as long as they don't make it too short or easy.
Wii gets it in quantity of exclusives, though nothing on its list will be able to stand up to either Halo Reach or GT5 sales-wise.
Unless DKCR manages to ride the NSMBWii wave. Then everyone's going to have to dive out of the way.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I think there's a chance that Wii Party will sell more than those two.

From that list:
Pc has 2 games I am interested in
360 has 2 games I am interested in
Ps3 has 2 games I could be interested in
I'd say it is a tie with 360 and pc for me.
For me it's the PS3.
I'll definitly buy GT5 and LBP2. On Wii I'm only interested in Kirby and DKC, but I will get these two later. Nothing on 360 and PC for me.
2012 - Top 3 [so far]
#1 #2 #3

PS3/Wii/PC for me with LBP2 the deciding factor in PS3s favour.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
