Also its worth mentioning that This year Sony announced 2 games that nobody new was expecting and these are games we are getting this year too. Socom 4 and LBP2. So you can bet that another few exclusives will be coming our way next year thats unanounced. Also TGS and the european games convention is approaching soon so we could see more games for next year.

Well I think you are making a few too many assumptions (Uncharted 3 is quite a leap imo) but I agree that this is looking to be if not the one of the best years for me personally because of games like Ar Tonelico 3, Disgaea 4 (which based on history should come in NA in 2011), Portal 2, and especially The Last Guardian.  Don't know if it'll be regarded as the best by popular opinion when all is said and done, but I'm expecting to enjoy it quite alot.

Which is a hell of a lot more objective than yours. Im basing it on overall sales and GT5 is about 3* bigger than the next biggest PS3 exclusive. Maybe Last Guardian will make the PS3 fan nerdlings on Vgchartz cum in their pants more but the wider PS3 fanbase want GT5 much more than the next two biggest PS3 exclusives combined.

but how does one really well seling game mean that it has to be the best year for exclusives, if we're talking about which year is best for great games I'll take those three next biggest PS3 exclusives over just GT5 anyday.

I'm not trying to say The Last Guardian will be as big as GT5. I know GT5 will outsell TLG. I was just stating my opinion. No need to bring nerdlings and cum into this. 

Because more people will be attracted to that one game than likely the next 3 biggest selling games combined. That means the one game is as big as the next 3 biggest titles. To put it in perspective it would be like 2010 had Uncharted 2, God of War 3, The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy Versus along with the other 2010 titles like LBP2, Modnation etc. If people are just going to lay out their personal opinions on which games they like the most then theres not going to be a lot of agreement.

and if you go by sales then there's nothing to discuss.  I prefer to have something we can argue and talk about rather than something we can solve with a calculator.

Theres always something to discuss given the fact that most of the games haven't been released yet. Its not much difference if you're talking about anticipation or sales because estimates of both are subject to change before, during and after release. All im saying is that given Gran Turismo 5 be given special consideration given the fact that it represents considerably more impact than any other title you'd care to list as a PS3 exclusive which we know about.
