This would be a MASSIVELY bad choice on 360.

Reach will be fully free and much more feature laden. COD will have a tough time dealing with Reach free, let alone a paid service. If this happens, Reach will walk all over COD on 360.

I love CoD and I would probably still buy the games for the SP (at like 30-40$) but I won't pay for online that's for sure.

Anyway I can just stick with MW2 for a long while.

if people are stupid enough to pay for the overpriced map packs or xbox live, they are stupid enough to pay for this aswell. So i congratulate activision for trying to make money from stupid people. I know that i would do the same if i could.

People who pay for Xbox Live are not stupid and saying so is completely trollish.

If future COD games had this, then the sale price for the game should be $20 or something in stores.

That buys you the single player game, and if you want to go online its an additional $50 a year for the COD network (which allows online play for all COD games).

Despite my personal opinions about such a plan, I dont see how this would work on 360.

For PS3, online play is free initially, then the COD network would be $50 annually.

But for 360, what the hell is the LIVE fee for if it doesnt cover the ability to play the best online shooter?

Well I quite paying for live when I got bored of the last call of duty and I kept telling my friends that the next version I would buy for PS3 so I could play on multiple accounts for free.

Anyways if the subscription to Activision is true there is even more reason for me to buy the game for PS3 because I am not going to pay twice for one service.
