Zune Pass for UK gets briefly teased, priced?

If the above picture is to be believed, it looks like Microsoft's Zune Pass is gearing up to make its UK debut. An across-the-pond tipster via LiveSide apparently stumbled upon (and was able to successfully score the 14-day trial) a Subscription page with pricing tiers. In addition to the tryout period, there were also options for a £8.99 (about $13.74) one-month pass and £26.97 / $41.23 for three. Further details are just barely hinted at in the sidebar, but if it's anything like the US progenitor, we're looking at an all-you-can download music service and ten DRM-free MP3s each month, playable on Windows, Xbox 360 (soon), Zune devices (still not available outside US), and Windows Phone 7. We know Microsoft is planning to move its "challenging" music service into every country its phones will venture, but that little tidbit doesn't absolve this image of scrutiny. Try as we might, our UK editors are unable to find this screen anywhere. According to the original tipster, even though he has access to the trial, he still can't use it. We'll keep digging and will let you know what we find.

What do you get for having a Zune pass?

I don't know what you get in the UK...

But in USA you get unlimited music downloads while you are a member. Once you stop being a mamber you lose the tunes...however every month you get to keep 10 songs as your own.

It works out as it costs as much as 1 album per month in USA, and lets you keep 1 album per month. And in the meantime you get access to pretty much all music you could possibly want as long as you are a member...

Sounds awesome. Does this mean ZuneHD release here?

I would definately buy it over IPOD. Mainly because I have a 360 and it would be convienient to use it altogether.

Not necessarily.  WP7 devices will be released in the UK.  And the Zune Pass will be great for 360 owners as music is coming this Fall.

YES!

Am I the only one that like my music and phone on seperate devices?  I need my phone for work and my life... I dont need the battery being hammered because im playing music from it in my car for instance...

I also dont want my phone ringing or telling me I have 127 unread emails from work while Im listenting to music on a beach or around the pool on my holiday.

plus.... I'm afraid I just like iphones... I know, I know... terrible.  But my iphone 4.0 is so.... niiiice.

No, you're not the only one. I have my BB for phone/email and my crapple ipod touch(no ios4 though, no JB for 2nd gen MC model yet) for music. i know someone with a ZuneHD that they don't use because of lack of games so I'll see if they want to swap it for my ipod. :)

I dunno man. That Windows phone 7 beta video was astonishing. The touch screen is definately better. And Xbox Live intergration is awesome sauce.

i'll be sticking with ZunehD and iphone4.0 for now...

Hey dude it's each to their own.

I need a new phone. So WP7 it is for me.

I am really excited about intergrated all my M$ products wherever I go. I dont have a Mac, so Iphone has fiddly intergration with Windows compared to Mac. And the Zune Pass will be great. My phone, Bedroom and PC will access all music with 1 payment. Looking very forward to this. And the Live thing. That will be so good for games on phones. Like the revolution that was Live Arcade in the first place. But for phones.

This is M$ answer to PSP etc. I see what they have been planning now.
