People I mildly suspect, and suspect heavily

He has kept a pretty low profile throughout the game so far. But I don't think he is mafia. But, hey ~ who knows ?

He has been voting people for the craziest reasons - saying that a certain poster may not be in the game, because people are asking for information to be revealed, etc.

But stefl claims that he is pro-town. I'm inclined to believe him as I doubt someone would be assed to post nearly 100 times like dsister has when they are mafia, who do most their work at night.

That said, there might be a bus driver fucking with us.

He was the first to say that his role sux. And he hasn't posted much at all. He has been online 4 hours ago.

We may be looking at a classic case of reverse psychology here. He might have one of the most powerful roles.

Yes, I said that my role sux too. Because it really does. Ordinary vanilla townies FTL. That is why I said I don't have much to add at all.

Claims to be busy. He has managed to keep a rather low profile amidst the not so exciting game we have been playing so far.

He hasn't posted much, occassionally popping up to hint that he isn't a lurker. Anti-town ? Possibly.

Occasionally popping up, but much less than RCT. Instinct tells me he is anti-town. I tend to go with my gut feeling most of the time.

Doesn't matter since he'd most likely get modkilled anyway. If he doesn't, then we should be vary of him.

Where is he ? He hasn't posted at all since the 19th and was online about a dozen hours ago.

Other than the obvious silence until around 400 posts, nothing much. Its best to keep an eye on him.

I tried my best to contribute to compensate for my vanilla townie-ness. Though most of these comments are captain obvious type ones.

I just read through most of the thread (skipped the MM476 fiasco). You guys have said a lot of things, and I have no interesting thoughts, hence I don't have anything to add.

I saw this post after i the one above, and I can totally understand why you would vote for me. I'm just kinda bored of this game after I had a pretty amazing game last time around.

Like j0 I think ? said, I'm a townie with a MK name...and I'm not too happy about that...but you don't always get what you want.

And am I really the person that you suspect the most, enough to provoke a vote ? There have been a lot of lurkers in this game who haven't said much at all. At least I had the courtesy to say that I have nothing fruitful to add to the conversation.

- Do you agree with anyone in particular? Anyone acting more/less scum-like? There are plenty of things you could say.

- I understand the sentiment. Progress is slow at the moment. the game might get more interesting as we find out more powers. I'm glad you did read through the thread; I though your wording implied you hadn't much.

- I could have voted for a lurker, but that seems to be having little effect. The people who have been pressured still aren't posting enough. Those who are long-term inactive will be modkilled, and those who are minimally posting should be the targets of, for example, vigilantes and investigative roles. Because we're (evidently) not going to get enough out of them to infer an alignmemt by voting or questioning them.

sm128 will be modkilled, I'm sure, so there's no point in going after him like I said I would.

This day can't be allowed to end with no lynch though. The mathematics of that mean that the town would lose net people, unless the two Mafias manage to kill each other off.

 

People who I think or know are Town: tanstalas, dsister, stefl, Gnizmo (that dejected tone has to be real), Nikells (don't know why really, just an impression), theRepublic (convincing lines of argument)

Undecided: j0/RCT/sabby/trangent (Few memorable posts I can recall; need to go back and look at them), noname (Something was off about that epic analysis post, like it was convincing on the surface but was really just an attempt to look useful and seem to be investigating people), hatmoza (insane amount of posts day 1 but not adding much overall. Could just be his style)

Suspicious: Vetteman (Acted oddly in defending himself yesterday), GoW (Saying he 'hasn't got much to add and could anyone explain what's going on' is a huge warning sign in my opinion; a Townie would add least try and dig up something himself)

And the rest I've already addressed as lurkers because of the lack of content in the few posts they have.

What was so odd about my responses?   I would just like to know so I can address this.  I dont really see how explaining my original "suspicious" post was odd.  If I hadnt explained my post and defended myself,  people would be suspicious of that as well.

Almost all your posts have been defensive. When people stop mentioning you, you disappear. It's that quality I find odd.

Do some analysis of people. What do you think we should do today? Who is more suspicious?

That is entire post count, and makes me wary, I totally forgot about a few of these people playing the game they are flying so far under the radar

Didnt the 2 people that died in the 1st night and had large post counts end up as mafia?     So couldnt we with the same logic look at people with higher post counts as well?   The content of their posts is more important than the number of posts.

Well in all honestly I have had to be defensive,  I wasnt able to post most of the first day, so when my name came up as being suspicious I had to answer to those first.  And I dont understand how I have disappeared, if you mean because I havent posted much its because I am going over others analysis and rereading the thread to look for things.

I really dont haev to many people I am suspicious of,  a couple kinda stick out but nothing really worthy of a vote or anything.   What I think we should do today wouldnt be a popular opinion, as it hasnt been in the past,  so I am hesitant to suggest it.

By who, the quarter of the people who are actually playing?

Mafia seemed like a lot more fun when I wasn't playing.  Maybe it's me, or maybe I just had the bad luck to join a game where the majority is too busy sulking to bother with the game.  Even you seem to have come off your earlier Pixie-Stick high.

Fuck.  I had a post where I'd  laid out my suspicions of Snakeyez, but it vanished.  Summary:  showed up, lied about where he's been, then made a lame attempt to discount the person who pointed out his lie.
