Off the top of my head, I recall that both of them defended me against dsister's misreading of my makingmusic post, although others did that as well. Let me double-check, but nothing immediately springs to mind.

The point is stated at the very beginning of the post. As for more specific questions, I had a few but you've been cleared by stefl, albeit at a rather high price, so consider concerns have already been addressed.
